Chicken Coop Theatre is a different kind of Theatre Company.
We are a non-profit Toronto-based theatre company whose mandate is to present musical theatre and educational
fund-raising programs. We operate three divisions, producing professional-quality, affordable theatre that bridges
the gap between community and professional theatre.
Our professional division is dedicated to producing original Canadian Musicals; our educational division brings
musical theatre into elementary, middle and high school students by operating unique after school fundraising programs.
Our charity division raises funds for worthy charities. All productions are created through the efforts of
our dedicated artistic team, community members, and employees of the various charities.
As a professional member of the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA), Chicken Coop Theatre is proud
to have assembled a dedicated team of young artists devoted to bringing musical theatre to the stage in all divisions.

Chicken Coop After School Programs
Chicken Coop Theatre provides high quality production assistance to charitable organizations and schools to assist and provide a platform to create a unique fundraising effort for elementary, middle and high school students.
Our 10-week program builds to an exciting and rewarding final production that both parents and students will be proud of. All of our sessions have a student/instructor ratio of 10/1 or lower at all times. All Chicken Coop Theatre Staff are experienced in many different facets of musical theatre. Chicken Coop Theatre’s school program team always includes only staff that has experience working with children.
Chicken Coop Theatre believes that artists should always receive credit and fair compensation for their work and as such, all school productions are produced under license and with the permission of the copyright holders. Chicken Coop Theatre has created adult productions with a unique tie-in to assist charitable organizations. Adult enrollments include all training, scripts, music, production assistance by our professional staff, and a minimum of 2 shows produced by
